The books
Commons Community and The Hidden World are provided free of charge for personal and educational reading, licensed CC BY-NC-SA 4.0: free to copy, print, translate, and share; never for sale. You may not present them as your own work. The Visible World, the complete founding book, is forthcoming in print in 2027.
Giving
Contributions support a non-profit initiative and are processed by Stripe. Recurring gifts can be cancelled at any time. Because the work is a charitable undertaking, contributions are generally non-refundable except where required by law — contact us if something went wrong and we will make it right.
Acceptable use
Please don't attempt to disrupt the site, misuse the forms, or use the content to mislead others. We may withdraw access where the site is being abused.

The site is provided “as is”. We work to keep it accurate and available but cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
