The books
Commons Community and The Hidden World are provided free of charge for personal and educational reading, licensed CC BY-NC-SA 4.0: free to copy, print, translate, and share; never for sale. You may not present them as your own work. The Visible World, the complete founding book, is forthcoming in print in 2027.
Giving
Giving is not open yet. The buttons on the donation page read “Coming soon”, no payment processor is connected to this site, and neither money nor card details can be taken here. Stripe is planned but has not been configured. This page will name the processor before the first contribution is taken.
When giving does open, contributions will support a non-profit initiative, recurring gifts will be cancellable at any time, and because the work is a charitable undertaking contributions will generally be non-refundable except where required by law. Contact us if something goes wrong and we will make it right.
Acceptable use
Please don't attempt to disrupt the site, misuse the forms, or use the content to mislead others. We may withdraw access where the site is being abused.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is”. We work to keep it accurate and available but cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
